Subject	help- z shuts off during decel >>>

Message	when exiting freeway, and clutch is depressed to slow down- rpm drops and car shuts off. i know this is common with aftermarket intakes, but i still have the stock box in my 2+2. can it be due to missing splash shield causing turbulence? or vacuum leak tied in with the clutch? please advise what or which lines in particular i should inspect. thanks in advance.
